Best 4K TVs under 500 | Best selling 4K TVs under 55″ range (Updated for 2018)

Hi Folks, a big hello from the BNL Gadgets Team.

This Saturday, we hope to bring you our analysis of the best and best selling 4K TV’s which satisfy the following criterion:

– Best 4K TV under $500
– Best 4K TV for the lower sizes such as 40″, 43″, 49″ , 50″ , 55″

Which brands provide the best 4k TVs in the under $500 range ?

We looked at many brands when preparing our list of 4K TV’s to buy in 2018 in the under $500 price range. This is a budget price range and will generally provide you the lower size models ranging from 40″ – 55″ . You will be surprised to know that even at this low budget, you can get 4K TV’s from quality brands like LG, Samsung, TCL and Vizio.

Is it ok to look for a 4k TV under $500 or should you increase your budget?

Well, that’s kind of subjective and depends on your needs. But to begin with, you have good choices under the 4K range and the price difference between a 1080p vs. a 4K TV is narrowing down. Moreover why not update yourself to the newest features and technology rather than going for a lower end technology considering that you’d typically keep the TV for 3-4 years at-least.

Now, at this budget you’d typically be getting a lower size 4K model . That may fit your needs perfectly, if you have a smaller room or a couch placed not that far away from the TV itself. The TV size and distance from TV really impact whether or not you can make the difference in quality between different resolution TV’s. Typically if your viewing distance is in the 4 – 6 feet range , a sub 50″ or 50″ 4K TV will make a difference as compared to HDTV.

Coming to the performance part, 4K TV’s in this price range are entry level but even at that entry level, you have good options if chosen carefully and purchased online. This is why we have looked at the options available and selected 4 such 4K Models below which you can really look to buy. Here is the list

1. TCL S405 4K Ultra HD Roku Smart LED TV (2017 Model)

TCL S405 a budget 4K TV under $500
